首席科学家

缪协兴教授简介

 

     缪协兴,男,1959年8月生,江苏江阴人,博士,教授。第十届、第十一届全国人大代表,民盟第十届中央委员;现中国矿业大学副校长,研究生院院长,深部岩土力学与地下工程国家重点实验室主任,矿业工程国家重点学科首席带头人。兼任国际岩石力学学会(ISRM)会员,中国煤炭学会常务理事,中国岩石力学与工程学会常务理事,中国力学学会理事,江苏省力学学会副理事长,《采矿与安全工程学报》、《中国矿业大学学报》和《International Journal of Mining Science and Technology》主任编委。
     缪协兴教授长期从事岩石力学理论及其在采矿工程中的应用研究工作,是国家杰出青年基金获得者,“973计划”项目首席科学家(2项),全国优秀博士后,享受国务院特殊津贴专家,江苏省有突出贡献的中青年专家,江苏省“333工程”中青年首席科学家(第一层次)等;获国家科技进步二等奖2项、国家技术发明二等奖1项(均排名第一);授权国际国内发明专利21项,编写相关行业标准11项,出版专著5部,在包括《Science》等国际权威期刊上发表学术论文210余篇,被SCI、EI收录180余篇。
     缪协兴教授坚持走理论研究和工程实践相结合的学术发展之路,针对采矿工程中所特有的科学问题,即要研究岩体破坏后的结构运动和水、瓦斯等在岩体裂隙中的渗流灾变机理等,提出了采动岩体力学的概念,发展出了新的岩石力学研究方向。他带领团队,经过长期深入的研究工作,建立了采动岩体的“结构关键层理论”和“隔水关键层理论”,为煤矿重大灾害防治和矿区生态环境保护技术发展奠定了相关理论基础,开发出了具有完全独立自主知识产权的综合机械化固体废弃物密实充填采煤技术,攻克了近百年来世界各国采煤科技界一直在研究探索的技术难题。该成果已获2012年国家技术发明二等奖,并被国家发改委能源局用《国家能源局信息》方式报中办、国办和中财办等部门,国家能源局在相关文件中指出:“发展充填采煤是:推进煤炭生产方式变革的需要;保障煤矿安全生产的需要;提高煤炭资源利用水平的需要;保护生态环境的需要;建设和谐矿区的需要。”

 

Resume of Miao Xiexing
   

     Dr.Miao Xiexing, male, bore in August 1959 in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, is the member of the 10th Central Committee of China Democratic League, and the delegate of the 10th and 11th National People’s Congress. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). And now he serves as vice-president of CUMT, dean of the CUMT’s graduate school, and director of the State Key Laboratory for Geomechanics & Deep Underground Engineering. Also, He is the chief leader of mining engineering, which is the national key discipline.Prof. Miao Xiexing is a member of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), the standing director of China Coal Society, the standing director of Chinese Mechanics Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the director of Chinese Mechanics Society and the Vice-Chairman of Jiangsu Mechanics Society. He is the editor-in-chief of various Journals, including the Journal of Mining and Safety Engineering, the Journal of CUMT, and the International Journal of Mining Science and Technology.
    Miao Xiexing has long been advocating the study on Rock Mechanics Theory and its application in mining engineering. And he has been awarded many honors and prizes for his unremitting efforts for scientific research work, such as the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Foundation, the chief scientist of two projects of National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), one of the national top ten postdoctoral researcher, the Middle Age and Youth Expert for Outstanding Contributions to Jiangsu Province, the top talents in Jiangsu Province, the outstanding teachers of China’s Ministry of Education and the experts enjoying the Special Allowance of State Council. Prof. Miao Xiexing obtained two awards of the Second-class National Award for Development in Science and Technology and one awards of the Second-class National technological invention Award (all Ranked first). Prof. Miao Xiexing has been awarded 21 international and domestic invention patents, and compiled 11 relevant industry standards, and published 5 monographs. He has published more than 210 academic papers on the leading international journals including “Science”, among which over 180 papers are indexed by SCI and EI.
    Prof. Miao Xiexing has always upheld on the academic development path of the theoretical research and engineering practice combined. He proposed the concept of mining rock mechanics, aimed at the specific scientific problems in mining engineering, that is, to study the disaster mechanism of rock mass destruction after the structure movement and water, gas seepage in rock fracture, which has developed new research direction of rock mechanics. He led the team, after a long-term and in-depth research, established the “key strata theory in ground control” and “water-resisting key strata theory” of mining rock, which laid a theoretical foundation for a major coal mine disaster prevention and mine ecological environment protection technology development, and developed the comprehensive mechanized solid waste compacting backfill mining technology, which has a complete stand on one's own intellectual property rights, to overcome the technical problems the world mining technology sector have been explored nearly hundred years. This achievement has won the Second-class National technological invention Award, and has been reported by Energy Board of the national development and Reform Commission to the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, General Office of the State Council and CPC Central Finance Leading Group Office in the means of “National Energy Board information”. The national energy board pointed out in the document that: “the development of backfill mining is: the need to promote the transformation of the mode of production of the coal mine safety production; the need to ensure the mine safety production; the need to raising the use level of coal natural resources; the need of the ecological environment protection and the need to build harmonious mining area.”
